If you have snorkelling with the Giant Australian Cuttlefish near Whyalla on your list, you can look forward to some improved facilities.
Stony Point is the main site for seeing the cuttlefish and approvals have been given to improve parking and changeroom facilities and improve traffic flow with a dedicated turn around/drop area.
And if you want a hot drink after leaving the cold water, room is also being made for vendors so you can have coffee of hot chocolate after your swim.
The upgrades are due to be completed for the 2024 season and should really enhance what is an amazing experience in the water.
